Cookies and similar storage
Cookies are small values a browser can send with requests to a domain. localStorage stays in the browser without a built-in expiry; sessionStorage normally lasts for the tab session, although browser session restoration can preserve it. Our optional PostHog integration uses browser storage rather than an analytics identification cookie. These technologies can still involve personal data.
Gunum Trade controls the site’s own storage described below. “<token>” means the public PostHog project identifier. Storage on gunumtrade.rs is separate from storage on providers’ domains.
Site functionality and your preference
gt_analytics_consent_v1 — Gunum Trade; localStorage; records “accepted” or “rejected” so that we respect your choice. No automatic expiry: remains until you clear site data or the browser removes it. Changing your choice replaces the value.
gt_visited — Gunum Trade; sessionStorage; avoids repeating the introductory loading animation in the same tab session. It is not an analytics identifier. Normally removed when the tab session ends.
Optional analytics storage
ph_<token>_posthog — PostHog; localStorage and sessionStorage; stores the pseudonymous browser identifier, session information and analytics properties. The localStorage copy has no automatic expiry; the sessionStorage copy lasts for the tab session. Analytics persistence is disabled and its main stored data removed on withdrawal.
ph_<token>_window_id, ph_<token>_primary_window_exists and ph_<token>_session_registered_properties — PostHog; sessionStorage; coordinate tab/session identities and event properties. Normally last for the tab session; the primary-window flag is also removed on unload. A session identifier’s inactivity timeout is not the storage entry’s expiry.
__ph_opt_in_out_<token> — PostHog; localStorage; records the SDK’s enabled/disabled state after analytics has been loaded. No automatic expiry. An opt-out marker can remain after withdrawal so the disabled state is respected. It does not itself mean tracking is enabled.
These PostHog entries are created when analytics is accepted, not on a fresh visit before a choice. Rejecting initially does not load PostHog. Residual tab bookkeeping is not permission to collect new events.
Contact-form security and provider cookies
hCaptcha loads on the contact page even if you reject analytics. In the inspected browser it used __cf_bm on .hcaptcha.com for Cloudflare bot protection. Cloudflare documents a 30-minute inactivity lifetime. Depending on the challenge and accessibility features, hCaptcha also documents hmt_id (30 days), hc_accessibility (up to 30 days) and routing/session cookies (up to 30 days). These are conditional provider cookies, not cookies that every visitor necessarily receives.
Cloudflare can also use security challenge cookies when a request requires verification. A normal site visit in our check did not set a site-domain cookie. Provider security cookies can vary with the challenge and browser restrictions; their current descriptions are linked below. They are separate from optional site analytics.
Control your choice
The initial panel offers “Accept analytics” and “Reject analytics”. Either closes it, and neither leaves a floating control. Use “Analytics preferences” in the footer to change your choice, including on error pages. Rejecting or withdrawing stops optional analytics and session recording. Essential page delivery and contact-form security continue.
You can delete cookies and site storage in your browser settings. Clearing gt_analytics_consent_v1 makes the panel appear again; choices apply separately to each browser/device. If storage is unavailable, we respect your choice for the current document. Blocking provider storage may affect the contact-form verification; you can still contact us by email or telephone.
Deleting browser storage or withdrawing consent does not delete information already held by providers. The Privacy Policy explains processing locations, server retention and how to request deletion. This site’s current integration does not use Google Analytics or advertising cookies.
